This sequel to "Sherlock Holmes" (2009) is a CGI-intense action-adventure based on characters created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. While I think it looks a bit better than its predecessor, I still don’t have much faith in the film, for reasons I explained earlier. The stuff with Holmes in drag looks absolutely ridiculous and I also noticed a few more subtle hints at a “more than friends” relationship between Holmes and Watson, which is something that Ritchie drew our attention to in the first film. But Sherlock Holmes deduces that the prince has been the victim of murder—a murder that is only one piece of a larger and much more portentous puzzle, designed by one Professor Moriarty.
